25 years of runnning bare can take a toll on you........ But not on this sound business.
From humble beginnings Running Bare label has grown both in size and stature. Running Bare Australia Pty Ltd (RBA) originated in 1984 and began as a small operation specialising in swimwear and activewear. Brian Powell and Corin Powell are the founders and owners of the company and with an extensive knowledge of textiles and the fitness industry behind them, they decided to manufacture and market the product themselves. Beginning with a licensing deal with Warner Bros., for Ghostbusters merchandise, RBA was born. With the huge focus on fitness and the aerobics boom of the 80's there was a void in the market place for a fashion line of activewear.

Running Bare has also expanded into overseas markets. Whilst currently exporting to New Zealand, Hong Kong, Japan and London, the company's vision is limitless with our sights set on Europe, the USA and other large export markets.

Platinum by Running Bare has recently been launched and hit stores for the first time in February 2005. Platinum is a range that has been created in the belief that it encompasses a lifestyle philosophy for women that is synonymous with confidence, positive energy and physical awareness. Through our designs we aspire to enhance your outer self and rejuvenate your inner being to create a balance of the mind, body and spirit.
