How about “FREEZ” this summer!!

Lisa Allen started the affordable boutique style store with accessible, easy to afford and fashionable labels. Freez store now stocks labels like Mink Pink, Miss Me, Sunny Girl, Living Doll, Junk and many others and have gone from strength to strength over the last 10 years.

The designs are excellent, very fashionable and very affordable. Freez now has a good client base and now with web presence and online store it is only getting better.

Lisa Allen started Freez in 1993 while working for a Melbourne Clothing Wholesaler where she studies the markets and learnt the retail trade. Lisa saw an opportunity after she saw a business that could do so well was driven down to the ground by its owners so she bought it off them to try her luck as a business owner whilst she was still working.

Lisa said “I bought it off them for next to nothing but there were no clients to speak off so I appointed a manager who was fantastic with customer service etc and continued working in my other job”.

In 1995 she bought another store left her Sales Manager job and got another job working part time as a sales rep still in the clothing wholesale and appointed another manager who still works with her today.

“In 1996 I opened another shop at Padstow and finally left my other job to work full time in the business.  Then in 1997 I bought another run down shop in Jannali and ran the four stores.” Lisa said.

In 2000, it was time to downsize and start a family. So now, there are only 2 quality Freez stores, but yes they do stock quality clothing and accessaries.

After having 2 daughters, Bianca and Maddison, she has now teamed up with her husband to launch an online stores aswell.

Lisa said, “the online store was launched on the 12th of October 2007 and so far we have had a very good response to it.  We are basically offering the best stock from in store that we know are good sellers and especially are good fits.”

“We realise there is a small percentage of the population that shop on line in Australia and there is alos a lot of competition. However, we offer a very competitive price and we currently have MinkPink exclusively online which is a very popular label with the teens to early 20's” Lisa said.

Lisa said that one of the reasons they are successful is because their price is very reasonable for the product they sell and therefore they get a lot of orders from interstate.

So if you want to look good for your parties this summer, then try FREEZ......It may sound cool, but you will look hot!!
