“A Love for Fashion” - Always comes Through!! When you combine the love for fashion and skills of Karrah and Rebecca, you get nothing short of excellence. With fashion and trends in mind, sisters-in-law Karah Tarran-Wilson and Rebecca Reeves-Saunders , took a leap of faith to establish Rose & Ruby in 2007.
A stunning collection of timelessly feminine day and evening dresses, Rose & Ruby has fast become a favourite and is certainly one of Australia’s shiniest new fashion offerings.

Karah always knew her career would include the creative. After completing a degree in fine arts at the University of NSW (COFA), Karah went on to work in the photo department of Who Weekly magazine as well as several design studios.
Rebecca was from the other end of creative spectrum. Completing a communications degree at The University of Technology Sydney, Rebecca worked extensively in public relations and event management managing PR campaigns for brands such as Moet & Chandon, Gucci eyewear and Paspaley Pearls.

With such similar taste and an eye for beautiful detailing, the girls knew they would be able to create a product offering different to anything on the market. Rose & Ruby recently opened their first flagship boutique in Paddington’s William Street and have a strong following with both media and celebrities internationally involving Cate Blanchett, Jackie O, Annalise Braakensiek Holly Brisley, Gracie Otto, Lizzy Lovette and Kate Ritchie.
“We had a burning desire to translate what we thought was wearable and timeless onto a ‘canvas’. We had very limited knowledge of the process of creating a garment. We worked methodically through each day, and night, and now we have two collections, a third on the way and a beautiful boutique.” says Rebecca.
Produced locally, the girls feel it important to maintain the personal touch that each garment has been created with – plenty of love and care and this summer is no different. Rose & Ruby deliver another delectable serving of garments in antique colours that encapsulate old world charm using more contemporary lines.
